In your article of designing 802.11n, you state ‘Channel architecture: Nearly all products use multiple channels to create micro-cells,
but at least two vendors use a single channel to create one big RF layer. The latter clearly cuts
roam time when clients move, but trade-offs are hotly debated.’

GSM cellular network to be run on IP platform

Hi,

It is always said that IP is more cost effective than the normal route of cabling or communication through spectrum. Is there any technology which enables GSM phones work on IP platform with normal GSM phones available in the market.

This means, the normal Nokia, Samsung or Motorola phone can use the SIM and start functioning. This also have all the data transfer feature.

If yes please let me know about the technology with details.

Looking for best standards and practices, solutions to provide a external secure wireless mesh system for transmittal of streaming CCTV picture from around 25 buildings within a approx 15mile radius. to a control room. between 100 to 200 cameras and some BCM data.
