Wintel servers to MIPS
I am new to the mainframe world and would like to know if there is conversion factor that I would use to determine the processing power that will be required in term of MIPS if I have the wintel server configuration

1 - For Wintel servers what is the term used for being able to remotely manage a server Power On/Off process?2- Similarly what is the management for UNIX processors (RAS?)?
