Cannot see domain

I have serveral desktops that were setup using XP Pro, and they accesses the domain when I set them up. They worked for a white, but after they are shut off, they cannot find the domain again. Folder view in XP Pro and Server 2003

I have a user that when they open a folder it has the standard icon view. So they change it to list view because they like it that way. But when they log off and back on it goes back to icon view. Should it not save their settings? Is there something I am missing? This happens when they are on...
