New Windows Server 2008 on network

I have a bunch of XP/Vista Home edition pc’s that I will be upgrading or replacing with pro edition. In the mean time can these pc’s access data on a windows 2008 server, even if it is just shared directories? Thanks

Hi everyone,

Has anyone experienced this error when using MYOB Accounting Version 15.

1. MYOB must terminate

Termination Code: 1203

Important Details: Error -3000 in DMReleaseRecord
{5036:7047:69}.

And another one…

2. MYOB must terminate

Termination Code: 1209
Important Details: Error -3000 in DMReleaseRecord
{5049:7000:158}.

The last transaction we did before the error occurred was doing a Bank > Spend Money transaction. I hope someone could help us solve this problem asap. TIA.

Btw, I’ve installed and ran MYOB Accounting Version 15 on Windows 7 Professional and Windows XP Home Edition and the same thing happens. The program keeps terminating and we can’t continue work / making entries

I’m currently running Windows XP Home Edition SP1. I’ve been using McAfee Internet Security Suite 6.0 for the past three years with SP1 and would like to switch to SP2. Will the two firewalls conflict? Is there a way to disable the Windows firewall without deactivating the McAfee firewall? Any help would be great!
