Dcdiag /test:dns /e /v test passed Server is Windows 2008 r2 -Server NIC set to Local DNS -Server has internet access -Local domain forwarders verified to ISP’s DNS Clients are Win XP Pro SP2 -Clients do not have internet access -Windows firewall enabled (no other firewall exists) -No Antivirus or security software enabled -Clients can ping DNS (127.0.0.1) -Clients can ping server IP (192.168.0.100) -Clients can ping gateway (192.168.0.1) -Clients can authenticate to AD &#038; DHCP -Clients can see and write to file shares setup in AD Share<br/><br/></p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>we are a server 2003 based domain with about 150 clients all running win xp. there is a intranet website in this domain, built with sharpoint and having lots of rules and restrictions based on active directory OUs and Groups. we need to migrate and become an OU in a server 2008 based  domain in a separate forest. we cannot have the website pulled down even for a day. suggested solution is to use ADMT and migrate the clients, keeping old servers running. on the browser type the old website address and login with old domain authentication. which ADMT should i use to migrate win xp clients? is there any other better method? pls advice&#8230;</p>

<p>It happens about 3 times a day and happens while they are working.</p>
<p>It is setup and an exchange server and that connection gets lost too(goes to work offline on outlook on the clients).</p>
<p>they have to restart the client computer to fix the problem.</p>
<p>any help please,<br />
