Windows XP configuration programs unresponsive
I had a hard drive that started triggering chkdsk on every boot and finding more an more bad files so I replaced it by cloning what was left with Acronis True Image. None of the configuration programs work on either drive: Add/Remove Programs, Computer Management, or Services. I re-installed SP2 but this did not fix [...]
