I have
a client with Windows Vista Ultimate and need to connect to their machine.
They say they have a firewall and do not know where it is located. How can
I share the users screen to help them fix an issue? Free is preferable.

Im running windows vista enterprise and windows update keeps telling me there are new updates available, even though I have downloaded them numerous times. Is there any way to fix this without turning off automatic update check?

Not sure what it is but the windows update manager keeps on naggin about one update , a essential one that needs to be installed KB948881 Security Update for ActiveX Killbits for Windows Vista – date of release April 4th 2008

My Windows clock says March 25th 2009.

If press download to install , a popup window from the Windows Security Center pops up and says – search for updates not possible

Later on the WUM says some updates cannot be installed, the ActiveX Killbits security patch.
I have had this with third party Antivirus/Anti Spyware enabled and disabled, with IE7, with IE8, I do not know how to solve this. Wait for Windows 7 ?? I hope not or SP2 ??

Any suggestions greatly appreciated
