Using the native defrag utility, no. Using DiskKeeper’s tool, I believe so. Can we view fragmentation of Windows server 2003 systems remotely?
I would think this is not outside of the capabilities of Nagios. Otherwise you could periodically log in to the server remotely and check. It’s a problem with the optical drive. I just figured this one out. Just run to WalMart and grab and external USB dual-layer DVD writer for $50 like I did and problem solved!! Also, use the latest SUU disc from Dell…it supports SBS2011 natively…
