You cannot install partition magic in Windows Server 2003, as it doesn’t compatible with server. But you may try partition magic alternative, it supports 32/64 bit server , as well as all kinds of RAID configuration. <a href=”http://www.partition-magic.org/windows-server-2003/partition-magic-windows-2003-server.html”>Partition Magic Server 2003</a>
Use this tool in order to check to verify everything is compatible: <a href=”http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/solutionaccelerators/dd537573.aspx?ca=NOT&su=WINSVR&sa=MAP&ct=WEBS&cn=MSCOMWEBS&au=BDM&go=MAPTN&dt=04012009″>http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/solutionaccelerators/dd537573.aspx?ca=NOT&su=WINSVR&sa=MAP&ct=WEBS&cn=MSCOMWEBS&au=BDM&go=MAPTN&dt=04012009</a> If it is a problem with the storage drivers you may have to add them in as part of the install. Are you using the OpenManage System Build and Update Utility for the install as this would take care of the [...]
Never used any of these but you could go through and see if they have what you are looking for-> http://batch.software.informer.com/download-batch-command-convert-pdf-to-text/ Thanks Ramsey for your response. I did find this site during my search, however I figure that they would not be useful because they seen to only support GUI interface and did not make [...]
You will need to install the Server Backup feature the the Server Manager. Once you do this you can run backups to a network share. Here is a good link to explain it better: <a href=”http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/ff625293.aspx”>http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/ff625293.aspx</a>
MBSA is a good starting point. You can scan for common Windows vulnerabilities, weak passwords, IIS and SQL vulnerabilites and also get current patch status. You would need to look at 3rd party scanning for network issues, possibly having somebody such as Qualys or Sword and Shield perfrom network/public Internet security.

Your best bet would be to have a load balancer setup which sends the commands to all the web servers which are online. If the server is offline it is taken out of the pool automatically.
If SSIS and the SQL Instance are running on the same physical server then the connection should not be going out over the network. If they are on different nodes then the connection will go over the network. By default connections made that don’t leave the server are made over the shared memory protocol driver. [...]
This is done from the Computer Name tab in System properties applet in the Control Panel. There is a Change button on the tab that will allow you to join (or leave) a domain.

This feature is for system recovery and it manage backup for boot file, registry and other system things. <a href=”http://serverfault.com/questions/17624/what-is-a-system-state-backup-for”>Here</a> is a good thread of this feature, take a look. Regards
There really is no backup domain controller in AD. All DCs should have global catalog role in order to perform authentication tasks. All DCs can handle all roles. Worst case scenario you would have to use adsiedit or ntdsutil to seize roles that were assigned to the failed server and move them to the other [...]
We started with 6 2003 server domain controllers and have slowly been migrating to 2008 R2. Currently changed out 4 of the 2003 to 2008 R2. We have been runing this way for over a year without any problems. We now have the PDC on the Server 2008 R2. We plan to replace the last [...]
One solution seems to be to disable the Firewall service. Just turning the firewall off does not work. All the network computers are already behind routers and a hardware firewall system. After disabling the firewall service all the shares became visible. This happened on each of the Windows 7 computers as I made the change. [...]
Run DRPromo again on the server. But have a read of the link below to make sure all roles are moved to other Domain Controllers. http://windocuments.net/decommissiondc.html
