Using shadow copy on a Windows server.
Can shadow copy be used on a windows server to backup the shadow copies off site? Or at least to another machine? Where are shadow copies stored? Can I manually copy them and restore from them? Is this a security issue?

What are you looking forward to using in Windows Server 2008 R2? What features are you apprehensive about?
There seem to be a few notable upgrades coming with Windows Server 2008 R2 that have to do with improving administrative capabilities. Is your Windows shop looking forward to anything in particular in the new upgrade, or do you plan on holding off on putting it into production? Is there anything you’re apprehensive about?

Roaming users, with folder redirection active, can’t install software to local discs of machines but can still install to their home folder, such as my documents etc… Why?! We’re running windows server 2003 with XP workstations.
