Hello

I would like some assistance, i am changing hardware and as such i
would like to know how i go about moving the active directory users from
1 server to another. The old server is windows 2003, DC and DNS. The
new server is already set to be a DC and DNS. the domain names are the
same on both machines. The new server presently have a different ip
since it in on the same network but when the move is complete the Ip has
to change to that of the old server. How do i proceed.

will be replaced with thin terminals. We want their experience to stay the same

I have created a csv file of users from server 2003, however when I import them into the new 2008 server, and re-export them the sAMAccountNames appear as numbers eg($VE1000-HRTQ17KLSUII) and the displayName and userPrincipalName are blank. I have also lost user permissions on the home directory folders.

i m running exchange 2007 on window server 2003 but now i want to upgrade my window server 2003 to 2008 with same exchange 2007.please guide me would i have to install new exchange on window server 2008 if yes then what will be done with my previous mails,how i can upload my privious mails in new exchange 2007 on window 2008?

I want to upgrade our Windows 2003 32-bi to 64-bit and it hosts our Exhange 2003 (Version 6.5.7926.0). I can’t find any document that shows the compatibility of Exchange version to Windows 2003 Server 64-bit Edition. Basically, we want to maximize the capability of our hardware which can handles up to a maximum of 12GB of memory.
