Backup and restoring a registry
How can I back up my registry? If I do back it up, how can I restore it when I need to? Can I selectively restore keys associated with specific applications? This is on Windows 7.

how does the custom folder lock sofware work,,so that files are inaccesible in any manner
well i am trying to develop a custom software for privacy settings and facing difficulties in locking/hiding a file or folder,,is there any way to remove the complete reference of the file without actually deleting it,,so that it cannot be even viewed in any manner even when recommed setting of show system files is unchecked
