just wondering once you guys patch windows servers (any type), SQL server, windows xp or even as400, do you guys come out with a checklist or a document to show that the patch has been installed on the servers?

Opinion on Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)

Windows 2000 Update Rollup1 and AS/400
I installed Update Rollup1 for Windows 2000 SP4 and can’t delete any files on maped drive on AS/400. There has been sharing violation. Please, help.

Slowdown after applying Windows Server 2003 patch
Disc slowed down after we applied cumulative patches on Windows 2003 Datacenter Edition IA64 Itanium2 16 CPU 128Gb RAM server. Is there a solution. Discs are not fragmented though.
