Can BES synch a shared Exchange public calendar with a BlackBerry?

Does a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) have the ability to synchronize a shared Exchange Server public calendar with a BlackBerry device? Or can Exchange Server 2003 do this on its own with a Windows Mobile device?
