My problem with win server 2003

Hello , everyone ..:)
I have a problem with win server 2003 sharing folders ” I am already installed win server 2003 – and I made many of users Because I am working at Cyber so I got many pc need to get share with this server but the problem is 1 pc of em is unable to log on till I give the username and the pass and even with pressing remember my pass and when I make a restart to this pc it’s back to ask me again about the pass . that’s all .. Thnx

Sharing and Permissions on Windows Server 2003

Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone could help me out with some permission settings. We have a file server with different network drives on it. One of the drives is an Accounting drive. My issue is that I need to give permissions to a single user for 5 directories within the drive. I do not want her having permissions for anything else on there. How could I do this without mapping 5 new share drives and maintaining security?

Please can anyone provide me the default path for file server in Windows 2008 server.At present I am not able to view the files in the file server as the folders are being shown as shortcuts.Please help me.Thanks in advance.

Windows to Linux Migration – Clients and Server

We have a customer who is interested in migrated from Windows to the Linux (Open sources). They want to migrate all server and clients. Which invloves migration of

1. Email servers migration to Linux version

2. Conversion from windows Active Directory to Linux with DNS, DHCP services

3. Conversion from Windows File Server to Linux File server

4. Conversion from ISA Server 2004 to Linux Squid (or Endian Firewall) with bandwidth shaping & filtering.

5. Alternate of ISA Server VPN Client on Linux

6. Backup Solution (currently we are using Symantec VERITAS for backups)
7. 120 Clients Machines

If any one has done any migration proposal or Methodology/Approach or Plan for any customer, I’d be grateful if you can share.

I have a windows C# form and copy files from the local drive to the server by using its IP address (//11.111.11.111c$test) I don’t know where to use the server’s username and password to be able to copy the files! Thanks.

Dear all.

I have a File server as W2k3 and my need is users access to their sharing Account once,the next exiting the windown from Clients site ,they still can use another account of sharing. it means authority is required each login times.
e.g I access to \\fileserver once time with account :test/pass:123 after that I cannot login with another account, except restart the clients.

Any one can help me ?
I appreciated for your help
