Can we show file fragmentation in windows explorer as a column in specific folders using windows advanced server 2003?

I have created a application which manipulates the registry entry for some system level keys. I therefore provided a facility to backup those entries in *.reg files using the command

Shell(“regedit /e ” & My.Application.Info.DirectoryPath & “\Restore\Restore1.reg HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run”)

Now when i am trying to restore this entry by using the following command

Shell(“explorer.exe ” + My.Application.Info.DirectoryPath + “\Restore\Restore1.reg”)

i am getting this message box saying that “Adding information can unintentionally change or delete values and cause components to stop working correctly. If you do not trust source of this information in restore1.reg do not add it to registry.Are you sure you want to continue?”
It has two buttons YES and NO. When i click YES restore of the backup is successful.

My question is that how can i handle the the above message using vb.net itself so that the user does not have to click OK button to restore.

2009LT-Opening drawings from Windows Explorer

Each time I open a file from Windows explorer a new session of Autocad is launched.
Only when I open files from within Autocad 2009LT will multiple files open in the same session.
This was not the case with my earlier versions.
Is there a setting that I am unfamiliar with that would solve the multiple session problem?

Can Windows Explorer ‘File Types’ settings be amended by Group Policy?

To enable our reporting software to correctly export to Excel 2007 (WXP SP2 operating system) we need to change the following Windows Explorer ‘File Types’ setting:
Open windows explorer and navigate to the XLS file type and enable the “browse in same window” option, see path:
\Tools\Folder Options\File Types\select XLS file type\select Advanced\enable “Browse in same window”\
Can this be done by group policy ADM template, or does anyone know of a registry key to enable the same key?

Unable to drag and drop desktop/explorer icons.

For whatever reason I have been unable to resolve this problem. I’ve been trying for a few weeks — different mice, trying to find a setting somewhere but to no avail. I can highlight both in explorer windows and on the desktop using the old click-and-drag box, however I am not able to drag the icons. I’ve tried two different mice, although they were both ps/2 (no USB mice here at work for me to try.)

Any ideas would be pretty awesome.

I have a customer who is performing a search on Windows Explorer and it keeps crashing with the following erorr message: The instruction at “0x7c92ae22 referenced memory at 06xd654d20″. The memory could not “read”. Please tell me how to fix this problem for him.

Whenever I X out of explorer I get an error message. Windows then wants to check for solution to the problem and restart. How do I fix this problem? Is it just Vista?

Can I backup my PC files with Windows ME?

To my Desktop PC running Windows ME with latest updates online, I have attached a Seagate USB2.0 500GB FreeAgent external hard drive (directly and via a 4-port hub). The drive letter is configured and the Seagate drive recognized by Windows Explorer, but the disk itself is not accessed. It works fine on an XP laptop but I need to backup my PC files. Is there a way to do this under ME?
