Windows Explorer Crashing

I have a customer who is performing a search on Windows Explorer and it keeps crashing with the following erorr message: The instruction at "0x7c92ae22 referenced memory at 06xd654d20". The memory could not "read". Please tell me how to fix this problem for him.Thanks Barbara

Windows Internet Explorer

Whenever I X out of explorer I get an error message. Windows then wants to check for solution to the problem and restart. How do I fix this problem? Is it just Vista?

File name colours

What is the significance of the file names coloured blue in windows explorer. I have a great many in the Windows directory, some of which date from 2004. Such as "$NtUninstallKB86782$". They also contain sub-folders. Can any be deleted to save HD space?
