Hi all,  i'm using wdsc 7.0 on my laptop and loving it.  i also have it installed on a desktop pc, but when i try to work from my desktop all my settings, filters, etc are, of course, not there.  i've been searching for i nfo on how to share those settings so they are available to both...

When I run the RSE update it fails to connect to any of the sites where updates may reside. Can anyone share a config that works?

WDSC featuer missing from SEU

When developing a new program with lots of daily changes tracking can be tough. The old SEU had a search by date feature. This was done with the F14 and entering a date. You could then search for code changes made < , > or = th the entered date. I cannot find a way to do this in WDSC.....

Installing WDSC v7.0

I am trying to install Websphere Development Studio Client, version 7.0. In the Installation Manager I get the latest updates, select the packages to install, and click Next. A panel is then displayed referring to "Getting sharable entities from...", files are copied, then the install halts.

Command Validation Program

We have a command validtion program for the STRSEU command which allows us to check who is opening a source member for editing and whether they are authorized to do so. We would like to extend that same functionality to the WDSc editors. Is there an exit point we could exploit for this?

when I check the display file in the Outlook View I see a message "External description id not available". What does this mean and what do I correct the condition?

WDSC V6.0 versus purchasing WDHT

We have WDSC V6.0, but only develop green screen in RPGILE. We want to deploy browser based screens over a WAN to exploit our ERP. Can we accomplish this with some web-facing tool that we own or must we purchase WDHT and WDSc Advanced 7.0? If so, why do we need to purchase WDHT? Isn't there...
