What are my restrictions for DFS? File limit? Replication Partner Limit? Can we use VSS on the DFS shares?

Migrate repository from SVN to VSS
hi experts, I just would like to know how to migrate the repository from svn to vss or svn to starteam As former case many suggests as bad idea in different forums,I am not familiar with those please guide me If any one is possibble,how can that be Migrated using what tools ?
