We have integrated CCM 5.2.1 with MS Active Directory, and we are able to search AD Users but not AD contacts, is there any way to get this?

We have recently switched to a new ISP and a new firewall. I am not able to send emails to one person. Now that Nortel is bankrupt and being bought out by Avaya, does this mean my Nortel certifications are obsolete? Or is the situation too inconclusive to tell right now?
