Whats the difference between SIP UA and SIP Account
SIP User Agents (UAs) are the end-user devices, used to create and manage a SIP session. SIP tags
Hi, The UAS should use the same To tag used in 180/183/187 response. Because based on the tags only the UA’s can identify the dialog. In case of proxy is in between UAC & UAS, the proxy can change the To tag in both 200 OK & 487 of the CANCEL. Best Regards, Balaji

Recommendation for handling wall phone plates in UTP cable installations
Ground loops occur when there is a difference in potential or a return path for a transient current. If the system is properly drained in at least one end (in the telecommunications room) any transient leaves via the bonding/earthing busbar and grid. As the metallic faceplate is not connected to earth, there would be no [...]

priority queuing
Priority Queueing is only recommended for VoIP because of the way the switch handles the queue. Any frames residing in the queue are given priority over all other traffic in the switch. While the switch is busy processing the Priority Queue all other queues wait. Imagine now if you tagged several high-utilization applications as Priority, [...]
