Migrating VMWare Server 1.0 to 2.0
Migrate virtual machines I have the vmserver 1.0, in this server the files “yyy.vmx” not found. In the vmserver 2.0 the files “yyy.vmx” exist. How to migrate my vm of vmserver 1.0 to vmserver 2.0 ? Tks

Problem bridging nics that have been teamed on ESXI 4.0
The NIC teaming (Load Balancing) is setup on the ESXI 4.0 host, and when I attempt to setup bridging on the Windows 2003 Server VM guest, the VM stops communicating.

I keep getting this error message, Operation on file “/Users/lynneguist/Documents/Virtual Machines/Windows XP Home Edition.vmwarevm/Windows XP Home Edition.vmdk” failed. vSphere essentials licenses cannot be downgraded to ESX equivalents
Jason Tramer pointed out on his blog today that though you can downgrade vSphere licenses to ESX 3-equivalent licenses, but vSphere essentials licenses cannot be downgraded, and you must use them with vSphere. Have you run into this issue? Will this knowledge affect any purchasing decisions in the future?
