how can add debugging information in debug version of executable in a makefile?
while debugging a exe in debug directory (gdb dexe),it gives error as

Network in VMware workstation

I have installed Win Xp Sp2 using VmWare workstation 6.5 in windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit OS. But, I am not able to access the internet in that Xp OS. When I pinged, am getting the reply, but when I tried to access websites using Internet Explorer it is saying that wepage could not be displayed.

Running an application over LAN using VMware virtual machines

I want to create virtual machines of few softwares and place them on one system. Then i want to access these virtual machines from another computer . the first and the second computer are connected to each other using LAN.
so that first machine acts as a server and second machine act as client.
suppose i created a virtual machine for wordpad on computer one, i want to be able to open this wordpad application from computer two.
(i want to open complex applications)
like this i want to be able to open this software from a no. of computers connected to computer one(server machine) through lan
i want to how to do this using VMWARE or any other programming language used!
can u please explain me how to do it?

Please note: The following question was recently submitted via e-mail by a user.

I upgraded a VM to Workstation 6.5 (build 126130), on Windows XP Professional. The VM build is from an old computer that was running 5.0.0 (build 13124) which I upgraded after the fact.

When I run the VM on the new computer, I get the following error message:

“The virtual network drivers on the host are incompatible with the installed VMWare application. Expected version 5. Please reinstall the product.”

I don’t have any network capability with this; it starts it as disconnected.
