I tried to install ESX on my PC and a HP DL series server. But after the installation the server does not boot. May I please know what is the specific hardware required for ESX to be installed and used.

Failed P2V vmdk files.

I have tried to P2V a couple of machines but they’ve failed for a variety of reasons. I hadn’t realized it, but the vmdk files weer left on the datastore rather than removed as part of the cleanup. Is it safe just to delete them?

we have a DS3400 and a Blade with ESX 3.5, the vcenter stops seeing the datastores, but the virtual machines still working.
we don´t know what is going on?
