VMware performance data
Hi, We are migrating a few ESX hosts to a different vCenter and we would like to retain the historical performance data from the existing VCenter. Is there anyway we could backup and archive this data and reference to it when required? Thanks in advance Satish

Failed P2V vmdk files.
I have tried to P2V a couple of machines but they’ve failed for a variety of reasons. I hadn’t realized it, but the vmdk files weer left on the datastore rather than removed as part of the cleanup. Is it safe just to delete them?

VMware ESX 3.5 / VC 2.5, are the vm guest machines getting it IP address from the HOST NIC card (on a DHCP LAN) by a created Bridge networking bonding.
