When I start up my Toshiba laptop I get the message (the file or directory c;Program FilesToshiba is corrupt and unreadable. Please run the Chkdsk untility. Can you please tell me how to run this.

Connect to a Vista laptop in the field without any remote software.

Can I upgrade from Windows Vista Professional to Windows 7? Is it a safe upgrade path or am I better off backing up my files, formatting, doing a clean install and restoring? I do not want to lose any files or applications.

I am trying to downgrade IBM thinkpad lenovo x61 tablet from Vista to XP, when I try to boot on the XP install cd the system is unable to see C:
I get and error message “Unable to locate driver for hard disk” no the exact message close, any suggestions?

Adobe Acrobat 9.0 won’t print

I installed Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.0 several months ago and have printed from it several times in the past several months. Today it stopped printing. Every time I try to print, it saves to a .pm file instead. I am able to print from MS word and other programs, so it isn’t my printer. I have tried several pdf files, so this isn’t a single pdf file issue. I am running Vista and haven’t changed this either. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.
