I have found, in multiple locations, that there is a way to force 3d acceleration into a virtual machine allowing Gnome3 (and even Unity in certain scenarios) to run. I have not been able to make this work at all. I selected the "3D Acceleration" box in both programs but neither will recognize...

I use Hotspot Shield, a Windows VPN tunnel. If I run Ubuntu or the Chrome OS inside Virtual Box inside Windows, will their web apps go through Hotspot Shield in my Windows?
