AS/400 CPU utilization

Hi we have system model 550 with single partition, Machine Processores model type 8312 shows 4 of them Operational in WRKHDWRSC *PRC display. my HMC hardware managment Processor tab shows Mininum 1, Maximum 4, Current 2. I need to know, how many CPU are we usitilizing, and why HMC showing as 1 , 4 , 2?? Thanks.

Upgrading from V5R3M0 to V5R4M0 Using HMC on P-570

I’m at the planning stage of this upgrade and it’s the first upgrade with a HMC attached. There’s no twinaxial console, so my question is , Can the HMC perform the upgrade? Do I need to attach a console, to carry out the upgrade.

Can I install V5R3M0?

During installation having an error C600450C. We are using console for installation.

SNDDST Command

Hi,

Our program is using SNDDST command to send the mail. It is sending the mail but taking long time. It is reaching the mail box One hour after executing command. Could any one guide us how this command works and where we need to look for fixing the response time. The system is V5R3M0.

E-mailing and Populating data into a Lotus Document from Reports on Multiple LPARs.

Every month we have to gather BMRS tape usage data across 14 LPARs by copying the stats from a report and pasting it into an e-mail and also a Lotus Notes Document, which is a checklist item which gets posted as a Daily report.

I would like to know how one could read these stats into one report then e-mail it , then have the data populate a Lotus Notes database document and/or popluate a spreadsheet on a remote pc? Please go through the steps, concepts, and tools one would need in order to do this. Thank-you.

AS/400 QUERY ; how can I calculate the month and year of 3 months ago in define result fields?

I am using an AS/400 query in which I need the month and year of 3 months ago based on today’s date. To get today’s date I use current(date) but I need to know the month/year 3 month ago and the month/year of previous month undepending which day of the current month it is. Is that possible?

I already tried with substracting 31 and 93 days but that is not full-proof because of the month february.
