Currently AS/400 version V5R3 is used in one region. We need to clone this to other region where the version will be V5R6. May I know the hardware recommendations and other requirements to fulfil this task? Software/Hardware used: AS/400

AS/400 User Profile Disabling
Two weekends ago I upgraded our i520 from OS V5R3M0 to V5R4M0 and ever since we have had problems with user profiles becoming disabled. These are not because of incorrect password either, as many users are ones who use the system daily and have had no previouse issues with passwords.

Has anybody upgraded an iSeries 520 from V5R3 to V6R1 and found a problem running SAP updates and scheduled transports showing a message "resource limits exceeded" ? SAP nor IBM have come up with an answer yet which would suggest we're unique in the whole wide world !
