I’m concerned if I shut the system down it will not come back up.  Is there a way to hot swap a drive or to deactivate the 5 drives (moving date to other drives).  Ihave plenty of unused space on remaining drives.

This is a legacy system I am trying to keep alive for a couple more years

I can buy refurbished parts that match the IBM part numbers, but my question is… is it simply a matter of locating and replacing the parts then restarting the system. Or must there also be configuration work included? The disk drives are fine and we intend no change to the current config but I have never configured a raid controller manually. Will this be necessary?

I have no ideas why I lost all the space. This happend last week as well and I removed an old library but still happening. Reclaim Storage and Splfiles Does Nothing. Is there a Journal that could have gone nuts ?? The system does not tell me anything, just out of space. This happend after weekly IPL on weekend. Please Help. Thank you

The problem is that the users wants the system in dutch and I need it in english since I don’t speak dutch. Is there a way on how can I solve it?

5722SS1 option 39 not found on media for preselection.
5722SS1 option 30 not found on media for preselection.
5722SS1 option 31 not found on media for preselection.
5722SS1 option 34 not found on media for preselection.
5722QU1 option *BASE not found on media for preselection.
5722ST1 option *BASE not found on media for preselection.
5722SS1 option *BASE requires 5722SS1 option 39.
Selection of 5722SS1 option *BASE requires selection of another product.

Despite checking which cd has the required option on it, the system will not load it. I have tried a second set of cd’s but the same thing happens.
Using DSPOPT I can see the volume attributes for the cd fine.
