  • Best way to backup a NAS drive to a USB drive

Anyone know the best way to backup 600 GB+ of data on a NAS drive to a USB external drive? I need to make weekly copies (in case of an emergency). I already tried xcopy but it crashed pretty quickly. The NAS drive is a D-Link DNS and the USB drive is a Seagate. Thank you so much.

  • Read USB hard drive on NAS box from Windows 7

I have to format a USB hard drive to EXT3 so I can use it with a Linksys NAS box. But I can't read the HD when it's unplugged from the NAS and plug it into my Windows 7 computer. Is there a way to read it? My computer accesses the NAS over a wireless connection. Thank you.

  • USB slim flash drive snapped, can I retrieve data?

I snapped my girlfriends Slim Flash drive in two (got pictures) and it has very important information on it that she needs. Is there anyway I can perhaps repair it to retrieve the data or is it totally dead? The actual thing itself has snapped but it doesn't look that bad.
