Custom Ubuntu disk with applications for corporate recovery disks

Can I make a custom Ubuntu disk with the applications I need to distribute as corporate recovery disks? It can have an application for our VPN so they can connect to OWA remotely even if their system is offline. They have Windows 7 on their laptops.

I have not yet been able to access my.ail through evolution. it refuses my POP pass word continuously… I am getting very upset as I have to go elsewhere etc…

ldapd error on Ubuntu fileserver

I adminster an Ubuntu fileserver, with ldap and
samba to use for client control, but when I have to reboot I get an error that
the ldap service ldapd can’t start and I have to wait about 10 minutes for the
server to properly boot and the ldapd is finally started. Is there a way to let
the ldapd service/process start later?

Screensaver lockup in Ubuntu 8.04

I’m running a desktop windows XP machine. I installed Ubuntu 7.10 and created a dual boot, works like a charm. Then I upgraded to 8.04, still working great except in the Gnome desktop when the screensaver comes on it locks the computer down complete. Reboot is the only salvation. What’s the answer?
