Can I make a custom Ubuntu disk with the applications I need to distribute as corporate recovery disks? It can have an application for our VPN so they can connect to OWA remotely even if their system is offline. They have Windows 7 on their laptops.

I’m running a desktop windows XP machine. I installed Ubuntu 7.10 and created a dual boot, works like a charm. Then I upgraded to 8.04, still working great except in the Gnome desktop when the screensaver comes on it locks the computer down complete. Reboot is the only salvation. What’s the answer?
