Changing external cartridge ID on IBM TS3100 tape library attached to an iSeries
We have an IBM TS3100 tape library attached to an iSeries, but no media management software.     Is there any way to change the external cartridge id ?   INZTAP always defaults to the meaningless cartridge id.

iSeries TS3100 web interface ‘locked by another user or interface’ error message
Trying to use TS3100 web interface, get login screen and enter id/pw, get message that ‘Management Interface is locked by another user or interface’. This persists beyond several power cycles oif the library and a couple IPLs of the attached iSeries box as well. How to unlock/rectify? Thanks! Carter

Problem in tape library device
I have i520 server with V5R3 and ts3100 tape library.I faced this message error when i try to do backup: *Attention* Interface error:TAPMLB01(resource TAPMLB01) or IOP CMB04.
