Whenever she replies or forwards an email, then sends it, the email is received and only “<<<” (without the quotes) is in the body. 
The previous tech thought it was TrendMicro, but I shut TrendMicro off and it’s still doing it.
I also deleted all her temp files with no luck.
Any suggestions?

I am talking GB’s in size. I think it is the old av updates that are causing this but cannot find the folder where these are. also is it safe to delete some of these and keep the most recent.
does anyone else have this issue? or has anyone came across this?

I am having this trouble on a stand alone (no domain), desktop with XP service pack 2 and all updates.
On this machine, I have internet security seting in IE set to high, and then I add sites to my trusted zone when I need too. This alone soesn’t seem to be enough to allow the online scan?
