Intel’s “system on a chip” – Atom v2 PineView – what do you think?

I was just reading Margaret Rouse’s post on Intel’s v2 release of their “Atom” CPU, code-named PineView. It’s being hailed as the next step toward a “system on a chip” for netbooks, the “holy grail” of computing. What do you think? Is it a lot of hype, or do you think an SoC solution is on the near horizon?
