A question about system integration testing
I have two development teams looking at integrating testers / test developers from traditional QA team. How should we best handle system wide integration testing that would include devices, firmware, and web software? Most books are written for software only teams. Our integration and regression testing touches hardware, firmware, and software.

What does it mean the upgrading to .NET framework 3 for System Integration Testing?
Does a framework upgrade means a possible re-coding the software and therefore do we have to do a significant amount of regression testing in all the functions?
