Can two switches, having VLAN defined in each, communicate without the help of Layer-3 device?
If in a single L2 Switch, IPs of the same range can communicate – then what’s the need of creating a VLAN for different IP range? Can two switches (having VLAN defined in each) communicate without the help of Layer-3 device? Thank you.

I have AC PDU’s for redundant and non-redundant devices, but I haven’t figured out the best way to avoid my non-redundant devices being cut off from power from a failure to either PDU.
