Our AS400 (9406-250 V5R1) has notified us that its 2763 i/o adapter card (raid controller) has failed and should be replaced and also mentions replacing the cache battery pack. I can buy refurbished parts that match the IBM part numbers, but my question is… is it simply a matter of locating and replacing the parts…
