Opening Microsoft Office 2003 files on reformatted computer

Win7Pro backup generates “Server execution failed (0×80080005)”
Trying to use Windows7Pro backup program generates “Server execution faled (0×80080005)”. However, I can drag and drop to the drive, and open files, etc. Device manager recognizes the 1TB drive.
