I have a LTO 3 tape drive that does not read my LTO2 tapes is this normal?
I have a LTO 3 tape drive that does not read my LTO2 tapes is this normal? I thought they were backwards compatible. I can read the LTO2 tapes in the LTO2 drive but not vice versa. It seems to be letting me write to them but not read them.

Automated backup system available to my client windows 7 workstations?
Is there an automated backup system available to my client windows 7 workstations on the network? Can it be scheduled to wake up the clients and then back them up to a central location? Can I log everything or will I need to script batch files to pipe the output using xcopy?

We are now required to save all emails for 5 years. How can I automatically do this with our Exchange server? Is there a way to compress it on another machine as to not waste so much room on the production server? Are there applications that do this or is it a built-in feature?

I have two drives that are a hardware mirror. They are scsi and connected to a Windows advanced server 2003. The primary drive died. I tried switching the cable to put the second drive where the first was but no luck. How can I boot? How can I recreate the mirror?

I am having problems logging into my Windows Server 2003. I log in and get logged out right away. I think it is my software registry hive. What can I do? I have system back ups but not the system state. We use Arcserve for backup from another computer to LTO2 tapes.
