• Any EMC NetWorker users try Amanda Network Backup?

Has anyone moved from EMC NetWorker to Amanda Network Backup? What are the 'gotchas" that we should be aware of? What did you lose - or what did you gain? I'm not interested in White Papers - but if anyone can point me to any non-biased comparative reviews - that would be much appreciated. Thanks....

  • Lost SAN Connection after MS Security Patches updated

EMC DMX800, DMX1000 were visible to a Windows 2003 Server (R2, SP2) with Emulex HBA. After some Security Patches updated it has lost SAN Connectivity. HBAnywhere sees FA ports of Arrays. However, HBA of the host is not logging into the Array.
