need an outsourced managed security vendor
Depending on the breadth required, we have used SunGard Availability Services. There are smaller vendors for SME market as well that we’ve used on a case by case basis.

Moving DASD and Controller to a New Machine
If the server is the same brand, it should be OK. You don’t really need to move the backplane – just the drives and controller. If you are trying to mount the physical cage into a new box, you may not have success. In this case, you may be better off doing a data migration. [...]

Group Policy Management
I have used NetIQ GPA and if you are looking for ways to control GPO’s this works well. If you are going to be the only one administering GPO’s then this really isn’t the tool for you. NetIQ GPA gives you some good reporting tools and also some additional management utilities but it’s best feature [...]

Data on Failed Disks
You seem to be speaking about harddrives that have physically/electrically failed. Is this correct? If that is the case, then there is probably little you can do after the fact. IF they are going to repair, you should find some contractual means to control (non-disclosure clause). You are really putting it all in thier hands. [...]

Stop bit problem: USB to Serial Converter attached to motion controller, unable to set for 7-E-2
This may seem like a silly response, but since the 7-E-2 setting is the default, can it be changed? While I find dealing with serial communications on PLCs to be a pain in the butt, I’ve never had to deal with odd settings like that one. Good luck!

AOL Spammer IP Identification
Posting a copy of the header you are having a problem with would be most helpful in this case. Perhaps, your program is not digging deep enough to find the originating IP address. If the proxy server is the originating address, then there are two possibilities–the IP address is indeed the source, proxy or not, [...]

SPAM
First off, I like the positini.com spam filtering service. They do a pretty good job. Secondly, you need to watch the format of email addresses to avoid those which can be mechanically generated. By this I mean avoid names like “johna, johnb, ajones, asmith” etc. I used to use bobk and got flooded with the [...]
