High capacity, off-site data storage needs

I am trying to find who sells one or more of three types of high capacity storage systems. The first is to store 200 terabytes of security videos with the ability to retrieve a particular indexed video quickly. The second is a very high canacity RAID 5 storage system for off-site data storage of critical data for banks, government tax files, etc. The third system is also for off-site data storage that can grow to a petabyte size for general public storage of files. Your help in identifying suppliers for these will be greatly appreciated.

Troubleshooting a system with RAID 5 and 500GB drives

I have a system with RAID 5 built into the motherboard with three 500GB drives and I am not sure how to go about troubleshooting the system. It has failed and I cannot get into the system. Can’t even reload OS as it won’t recognize the disk either.
What to do at this point? The Board is an ASUS, 4GB mem. Vista Ultimate OS.

Difference between DAS & NAS storage system?

Hi,
I have newly started to work on Storage Doamin. We a LACIE configued in our Company..its a new stoarge based company. We work on Cluster based stoarge system where we need to configure Master & slave. we attached all nodes into a primary storage pool. Now I am quite confused whether is it a DAS or NAS.
