Can i use the Express edition installer to install a named instance on the standard edition? Will i get any error during the installation. I do not want to affect the current default instance.</p>

Based on the principle of using the lowest possible user rights is it possible to safely install SQL Server 2005 using an account or group that has the required level of privileges but no more.<br />
I have read Books Online for example to &#8230; always run SQL Server services by using the lowest possible user rights. I am trying to figure is it reasonable to take the same approach at installation time</p>
