Conducting a performancee baseline comparison
I was reading this 2-part article on performance baselines. I would like to know how someone actually performs the comparison between the performance on the system with the baseline? How do you use SQL Server Profiler and PerfMon to do the comparison?

Hello, is there a free software tool to monitor sql server 2005 similar to Quest FogLight? Quest FogLight is just too expensive for my budget. I am an independent consultant and I want to be able to monitor my client’s sql server.
