				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hi<br/><br/> Currently using SQL server 2000<br/><br/> Is there a way of making SQL server logins use case sensitive passwords.<br/><br/> for example    user = SA password = PassWord123 as it stands &#8220;SA&#8221; can login with password = password123 how can can i change it so the user cannot login with different case password.<br/><br/> I have read about changing the collation to &#8220;CS_AS&#8221; on the DB , but that comes up with errors as there are triggers which are using the existing collation.<br/><br/> Would appreciate some help on this. Thank you very much.<br/><br/></p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I inherited SQL 2005 server from a previous employee and the SA password is currently stored and saved in the GUI.  This has allowed me to do my job up until now.  I have what I think to be the password but I am unsure if it is correct.  I am afraid to remove the stored password to check.  Is there an easy way (through command line or some other route to test to see if I have the correct password before removing the one stored in the GUI.</p>
