Hi, Thanks for your help, But on SQL Server (SQLEXPRESS) it prompts for only account name and password but no IP so I still can login to my clients server to access thier database. Please how do it. Thanks Chuk

i have sql 200 and express 2005 runing on one machine and all is working but for some reason i cannot retrieve data anymore hence it says the data is being used by another instance.

Using VB.NET to find local subscriptions on SQL Express
I have several different SQL Express databases using pull subscription replication with a SQL Server. Different computers will have different databases to replicate with; some have more than one. Is there a way in VB.NET to find all the local subscriptions on the computer running SQL Express?

connecting VB2005 Express with remote msSQL2005 Express server

I can update the dataset, but not the database
Posted on behalf of BodjorB: I have been trying to update a database in a program i developed using Microsft Visual Basic 2005,SQL Express — whenever I enter data and click on Update, this updates the dataset, but the database is not updated. What am I forgetting?
