Insert values into database from form VB.NET

Hi guys, Having abit of trouble with inserting values that i have in my form into my sql database.
Basically it supposed to calculate a customer who borrowed a DVD or CD. I select the date that the customer brings the returned item by selecting a datepicker. The calculation works fine, but i want to insert 3 values into my database under column names that i already have. The table name is Trnsaction. it has the following coloumn names:
Trnsaction_id
Member_id
Album_id
issue_date
return_date
members_date
days_delayed
fine
The last 3 coloumns(members_date ,days_delayed ,fine) are values i wish to add to my database. The values days_delayed and fine only pop up when i have selected my date (thats members_date) form the datepicker and selected the calculate button
How can i insert these values to my existing database?

Calling stored procedure in a database to query data in another database

Hello, I am writing a stored procedure that will query data from another database, but the database name is variable. Do I have to use a dynamic query? We dont want to use dynamic queries because of performance loss. But is there a way to do it without a dynamic query? Example GetData ‘some_remote_db_name’; and the select statment would be like SELECT data FROM data_base_name.table; –or something like that Any help is greatly appriciated Thanks

SQL Server backup to remote internet location

We have one server with 2 SQL databases with size 1.5GB and 6GB,

Daily new transactions are added to the system. Now we want a solution that this SQL gets backed up / replicated at some remote internet location on daily basis. Since we cannot transpot full 1.5GB file or 6GB file on daily basis, how to make the system in such a way that It transfer only the current day transcations on daily basis, and replicate data there.

Updating SQL 2000 Data

Hi I have a database with test card numbers, I have encrytpted the card numbers and updated the database, when i run a card scanner program on my MDF file it still finds the cards that i have updated. how can i get rid of these permanently. I have a deadline to apply this same principle to a Production database. Would really appreciate some help on this please. Thanks
