I just narrowly avoided getting scammed (corrupted files)

I got a phone call from people impersonating some kind of tech support company. I was redirected to http://www.ammyy.com where I downloaded an .exe file which granted them remote control of my computer, and they then proceeded to use said program to run a scan for viruses, spyware and corrupt files. it was only when they started asking for money that I realised it was a scam. After a brief exchange of insults the phone call ended.
If the scanning software (which was removed by the scammers) is to be believed, my computer contains a large number of corrupted files.

I would like to know A) what is a good way to deal with these files and B) if there is a risk my system has been infiltrated on a more permanent level by these scammers and if so what can be done to combat this problem.

Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated.

I would like to ask if the mobile softwares that filter the sms and calls on white lists & black lists are a spyware that could attack my privacy. Softwares like Mcleaner & Black & White Guard 1.06 from CMI Technologies in Czech? Also is Kaspersky Mobile Security 9 a good guard to my mobile against spywares?

I got a weird symptom in my computer.
- can not access microsoft download website
- can not get updated spyware data (Zone Alarm), but it works with anti virus data
- all of those symptom cause of connection failure.
- sometimes if i click in browser, it will open another browser.

I use Zone Alarm as firewall, antivirus, anti spyware. I have scanned for antivirus and anti spyware to my harddisks, but can’t detect it. Later, I tried with Ad-Aware, still can’t detect it.

any solution?

Does anyone have any information on how one can see if a Keylogging program has been installed on their personal computer, i.e., are they are free software applications that can scan your system to see if spyware, malware or a keylogging program has been inserted?
